No news back from AlertPay HQ
Many of you would be aware that we have an issue with AlertPay and that we are awaiting confirmation from them that our account will be 'unlocked' and that we can continue making AlertPay payments to you. Unfortunately we have not had a response for over a week and are in limbo until we have some kind of indication of what's happening.
I would have assumed that we would have an answer one way or the other by now, or even a reason to why the account was blocked in the first place!
But, not to worry. We have a strong contingency plan and it is already in place and working rather well. If you are still making AlertPay withdrawals you are quite welcome to sit it out and wait for AlertPay to unlock the account. As soon as we have access we can complete ALL pending AlertPay withdrawals.
You also have the option of converting the AlertPay to Liberty Reserve or Global Digital Pay and withdrawing this way or just reinvesting the amount while we wait.
Whatever method you choose we are more than happy for you to continue to make your own choice for at least another week. We want to try to make this little hiccup a non issue and not panic anyone. We have the AlertPay funds, we have the LibertyReserve funds and all is under control. We do however want your patience as the additional and unpredictable load on our Liberty Reserve account means automatic withdrawals are virtually impossible to keep up (our Liberty Reserve withdrawals have doubled since we added the Exchange feature), so please dont go into a spin if your withdrawal is not instant, but instead takes about 24 hrs to complete.
The worse case scenario is that we will totally ditch AlertPay next week and allow you to exchange your AlertPay funds to a different e-currency.

We had a very successful meeting last night even though the short notice didnt allow us to quite fill the room. We actually held the meeting with short notice in an effort to determine meeting protocols and discover any problems we might encounter when doing them.
All in all, the meeting went well and the Transcript from most of the meeting will be posted online at our blog when reformatted. We did lose the first 10 minutes of the meeting and are attempting to determine if it is recoverable. Nevertheless, there were many that felt the meeting went extremely well. We appreciate the patience of those that attended as we determined during the first few minutes how to handle the affair in real time.
We would very much appreciate it if those that attended would provide us with feedback of the experience on our blog. Your feedback will allow us to fine tune the meeting process.
I personally thoroughly enjoyed the meeting and the opportunity to directly interact with those that attended.

I dislike talking about the "flash crash." Far too many others do it, and it seems a bit inciting to keep saying one indicator or another is signaling another disastrous market event. But this one is screaming straight in our face and pleading to be noticed.
The action in the Volatility Index (or "VIX") is uneasily similar to what happened last year just before the flash crash.
The VIX is a measure of FEAR in the market. It's used as a divergent indicator. So when the VIX is low, it signals investor complacency and warns traders that sentiment is too bullish. When the VIX is high, it indicates traders are fearful and we may have a buying opportunity.
One of the most consistent warnings of an impending correction occurs when the VIX closes below its lower Bollinger band and then rallies back within the bands.
For example, here's how the VIX looked in the early months of 2010
The blue lines on the chart are Bollinger bands. They outline the most probable trading range for the chart.
Whenever a chart travels outside of its Bollinger bands, it indicates an extreme move kind of like stretching a giant bungee cord as far as it'll go. When the chart comes back within the bands, it often leads to an extreme move in the other direction like releasing one end of an outstretched bungee cord and watching it spring the opposite way.
On January 11, 2010, the VIX closed below its lower Bollinger band. When it rallied back within the bands, it made a sharp move higher and busted out to the upside of its trading range. This coincided with a 7% correction in the S&P 500.
In mid-April 2010, the VIX once again closed below its lower Bollinger band. It soon rallied back within the bands. Three weeks later, we got the flash crash and the start of a 20% correction for the stock market.
Here's how the VIX looks so far this year
Here again, the VIX warned of a correction in mid-January when it closed below its lower Bollinger band. The mild 7% correction that kicked off in February was similar to what we've seen before.
And we got another warning last week.
The timing is almost identical to last April's flash crash so is the preceding action, the bullish sentiment among investors, the increase in margin debt, the lackluster volume, and any number of other indicators.
Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean the outcome will be the same. But do you really want to take that chance?

We are happy to announce that the long awaited server move has been completed today, although it did not go as smoothly as we hoped!
Some problems were encountered which delayed the return of the site and due to a few anomalies in testing it also delayed some pending withdrawals.
The server has a new server time so it will mean that your interest will be calculated 12 hours later than it was previously. To some people they may worry when they do not see their daily interest added, but please wait for the new cycle to kick in and start to use the new timings.
Hopefully our new server will give us uninterrupted service and allow us to get back to normal over the Easter Weekend.
Our AlertPay issue is not resolved yet. We think the delay is because it is Good Friday and a holiday in many places. We hope to get the account back up and running by tomorrow, but if not we will activate the Internal Exchange page and AlertPay users can convert their AlertPay balance into our designated replacement e-currency. Please do not worry about this situation. Whatever happens you will get your pending withdrawals one way or the other.
We could not do this before as it would have affected the accounting as we had to complete the server move before we could make major changes to the database.
We would like to thank the legions of our supporters for contacting AlertPAy on our behalf. We appreciate your efforts to help us rather than hinder us like some others who are trying to chargeback their funds, even though we have done nothing wrong. We are sure we will get our account back shortly,
It has been a traumatic day for us and we still have a few issues to sort out. The main one is our e-mail server. It seems some Support e-mails are floating around in cyberspace due to the change of settings on the new server. So there may be a few delayed support e-mail replies, for which we apologize. Roll on the new Support Center which we will release next week!!

Noteworthy Changes
You asked for it and we complied!
We have made a couple of changes to our website ExoticFX.net that we wanted to point out to you. Many of you that are driving referrals to our site have pointed out that the load time of the Main page was too slow and you felt you were losing opportunities to retain your referrals.
The solution we implemented was twofold.
1) We have eliminated all the images except one on the main page. We kept the New York/USD image and brought all the captions from the others to this one flash movie. This dramatically increased the load speed of the page and hopefully is sufficient to accomplish the results you were looking for.
The images on subsequent pages were allowed to remain. So if this is not enough, please advise us and we will see what can be done to further speed up the process.
2) We have added a Live Help Operator to all the pages. It still needs some tweaking to not be too annoying, and for many of you it will always be an annoyance. But consider your referrals for a moment. When they arrive not knowing exactly what to do, we will know about it and be right there to assist them with any challenges or problems they cannot overcome. This should also create an increased retention as there should now be no reason they cannot successfully navigate the website since we can, in essence, hold their hand throughout their entire experience with us.
Like I said, it has some issues at the moment in the way it is presented, but we will sort those out within the day and overcome them to your liking.
Another query was the lack of FTA Information on the ExoticFX.net site. For this we have added another video to the lineup. We will also be adding a FTA Members Only section to the Forum where we can archive Trade Recommends as well as allow FTA members to discuss various strategies and agendas.
It is up to you to take advantage of the Services, Features and Benefits we are offering. Far too many members are simply HYIP participants. We are migrating to our new corporate size web server today so the web site may be unavailable for a few hours. We have not got an actual time yet, but it will be sometime today.
